SHE straight up STOLE Ellen Arkbro’s style. She was not inspired by it. She straight up stole it. Compositional style, instrumentation. Everything. Imagine helping someone arise as they straight up highjack your style and sell it as theirs presenting themselves as the ones who came up w it.

I received this album as a gift about a month after it was released. Shared many illegal smiles with john via this song. Had the good fortune to see him live several times. He could tell a ten minute story about a 3 minute song and carry the story into the song. I truly miss him.

Busy learning it and playing it my way. The world is a better place having had Mr. Prine in it. Sanity had a better chance of flourishing.
